Elmiron is an oral medication used in Interstitial cystitis, with its active ingredient being Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium. Each capsule contains 100 mg of the active substance. There are 100 capsules in a box.
How should I use the Elmiron 100mg capsule?
Unless your doctor suggests otherwise, the Elmiron 100mg capsule is used 1 capsule 3 times a day, 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after.
To avoid Interstitial Cystitis attacks and control the symptoms, stay away from foods that should not be consumed during and after your ELMIRON 100mg Capsule treatment. Acidic urine can make Interstitial Cystitis pains feel more severe.
Previously, we were obtaining the Elmiron 100mg capsule from the Turkish Pharmacists Association, where can we get it from now?
Since the medicine was coming from a company producing abroad previously, the Turkish Pharmacists Association was providing it to the patients. However, since the drug has now been licensed and started production in our country, the Turkish Pharmacists Association is no longer getting it from the foreign company. The drug can now be obtained from all pharmacies in Turkey.

What is Urocit-K 10 mEq Controlled release tablet and what is it used for?
UROCIT-K 10 mEq is a clear yellow, wax matrix controlled release tablet. It contains 1080 mg of potassium citrate. Potassium citrate is used in the prevention of uric acid and calcium stones in the kidneys.
How should I use the Urocit-K 10 mEq Controlled release tablet?
When taking UROCIT-K, avoid foods high in salt and adding salt to meals, consume a large amount of fluids. Daily urine volume should be at least 2 liters.
Your doctor will adjust your daily dose of the medicine based on your urine PH.
The aim of UROCIT-K treatment is to provide normal urinary citrate levels (greater than the 320 mg/day value and as close as possible to the average normal value of 640 mg/day) and to raise urinary pH to the 6.0 - 7.0 level. The tablets should be swallowed whole without crushing, sucking, or chewing.
I started using Urocit-K 10 mEq Controlled release tablet but the tablet was excreted whole in my stool, what should I do?
Urocit-K is in a structure we call wax matrix. This structure only ensures the controlled release of the active ingredient. After swallowing the drug, the active ingredient is released into your body over 12 hours from within this structure. Some patients may not be able to digest this wax matrix structure in their body, but the active ingredient has been excreted by the body thanks to controlled release. The expelled part is only the wax matrix layer of the tablet.
What is PRECOXIN %10 spray and what is it used for
PRECOXIN contains lidocaine hydrochloride as the active ingredient. It is a lavender-scented white spray. It is used to temporarily slow down premature ejaculation in men. It is prepared in a 40 ml spray form.
How should I use PRECOXIN %10 spray?
PRECOXIN Spray is designed for external use only. It is applied 5-15 minutes before sexual intercourse to create a local anesthetic effect on the male genital skin. Unless your doctor advises otherwise, you can use it as described below. It can be started by spraying 1-2 sprays on the head and body of the penis. The effectiveness of anesthesia depends on the duration and dose of the application. The minimum effective dose should be used as much as possible. No more than 6 sprays should be made. The applied spray is rubbed until it is completely absorbed from the penis skin. It should be washed off after sexual intercourse. The product should not be used for more than 3 months without consulting a doctor.
